My First Post

I have a few domains registered but I’ve done little with them. Hosting a blog was one of the long-pending things to do. I chose to use Hugo - it’s familiar ground - Markdown, a single command to generate the pages and I have a handy server at my disposal.

I have long abandoned mainstream social media and news. Now with AI threatening to numb and dumb down people further, I figured I’d partake in the circles of bloggers (considering I have hundreds of them subscribed on my feed reader). This also serves as a way to keep my writing habits intact.

It’s the end of a holiday week here, and the next time I have some time and something that excites or angers me, I’ll make it a point to post here.
