Spotify powered by ncurses - ncspot is great

I recently wrote about wanting to setup mpd/mopidy for Spotify but some things weren’t working the way I intended. I ran out of patience and installed ncspot instead, and it’s been great.

It’s fast, the authentication is simple and the keybinds are near vi-like. It even lets me navigate and modify my Spotify playlists. The default Shift+m bind even finds me ‘similar’ songs. That feature is powered by Spotify so I don’t have high hopes but overall the experience has been great! I’ve been listening to a lot more music on the PC and laptop than I did before.

There is a lot more I have to write about, but I thought I’d quickly post this since it has been on my mind the past few weeks.
